The PowerPac PP3231 Wireless Door Bell with Volume Adjust & Tone Selector comprises a Transmitter and a Receiver, both of which are provided. It requires no drilling, no broadband or internet connection required and is completely portable.

The Transmitter consists of a push button enclosed in a rectangular box which should be installed outside the home or office beside the door and is secured by adhesive tape. It contains a 3V CR2032 battery which is provided. It has an IP20 rating tells you that it has ingress protection up to 12.5 mm against solid bodies such as fingers or dust.

The Receiver is a stand-alone device and need not be attached to the wall near the door. In fact, it can be brought anywhere within a radius of 100 metres and will emit sounds when the push button on the Transmitter is pressed. It requires two AA batteries which are not included.

It is also suitable to be placed at reception desks where clients who arrive can notify the staff of their arrival.

Installation

• Remove the Battery Compartment of the Receiver and insert two 1.5V AA batteries (not included). Replace the Battery Compartment.
• Remove the Battery Compartment of the Transmitter and pull out the plastic tape from the 3V CR2032 battery (included). Replace the Battery Compartment.
• Fix the Transmitter next to the door using the adhesive tape.
• Avoid locations near sources of heat or electromagnetism.

 Operating Guide:

• Press & hold the Push Button of the Transmitter until the Receiver sounds.
• The Transmitter and Receiver are now in sync and have been paired successfully.
• (optional) Press the Select Button at the back of the Receiver to change amongst the 30 melodies.
• To increase or decrease the volume, turn the Volume Dial clockwise or anti-clockwise respectively.
